Calling all triathletes! Whether you’re new to triathlon or a seasoned veteran, don’t miss this opportunity to work on your swim technique. Join MOCO Multisport for a triathlon swim tune-up clinic!
Monday, June 17th
Washingtonian Woods Community Pool, 511 Midsummer Drive, Gaithersburg
For many triathletes, the swim is the most challenging part of a multisport event but with proper technique you can be efficient and fast in the water, while conserving energy for the cycle and run.
The clinic will provide a review of the fundamentals of technique, efficiency and open water swimming. Various drills will be covered the basics of stroke efficiency from proper body alignment, breathing, kicking and pulling. Open water skills, including sighting, turns, mass starts and drafting will be introduced and practiced during the session.
Practice open water swimming techniques to prepare you for race day while building comfort and confidence in the water.
Each participant will receive feedback from the coaching staff during the clinic.
This clinic is FREE for current MOCO members (join athttp://www.mocomultisport.org/) and $10 (cash or check) for non-members. Reserve your spot now as spaces are limited. MOCO members can sign up on Big Tent; non-members contact Lisa Reichmann (email@example.com) to register.
